1.17. In addition to the diplomas mentioned in section 2.02, the following diplomas awarded by the educational institutions designated below give access to the permit issued by the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec:

(a)  Baccalauréat ès sciences (B.Sc.) awarded upon completion of the baccalauréat en sciences infirmières program from Université Laval;

(b)  Baccalauréat ès sciences (B.Sc.) awarded upon completion of the baccalauréat en sciences infirmières program from the Université de Montréal;

(f)  Baccalauréat ès sciences (B.Sc.) obtained upon completion of the baccalauréat en sciences infirmières program from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi;

(g)  Master of Science, Applied, (M.Sc.A.) in Nursing from McGill University.

The following diplomas awarded by the educational institutions designated below give access to the specialist’s certificates mentioned below, issued by the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec:

(1)  specialist’s certificate, nurse practitioner specializing in cardiology:

(a)  Maîtrise en sciences infirmières (M.Sc.) held with the Diplôme d’études supérieures spécialisées en sciences infirmières, obtained upon completion of the program specializing in cardiology from Université Laval;

(b)  Maîtrise en sciences infirmières (M.Sc.), option pratique infirmière avancée held with the Diplôme complémentaire de pratique infirmière avancée, option cardiologie, from the Université de Montréal;

(2)  specialist’s certificate, nurse practitioner specializing in neonatalogy: Master of Science (Applied) Nurse Practitioner (Neonatalogy) or Graduate Diploma - Nurse Practitioner (Neonatalogy), from McGill University;

(3)  specialist’s certificate, nurse practitioner specializing in nephrology:

(a)  Maîtrise en sciences infirmières (M.Sc.), held with the Diplôme d’études supérieures spécialisées en sciences infirmières, obtained upon completion of the program specializing in nephrology from Université Laval;

(b)  Maîtrise en sciences infirmières (M.Sc.), option pratique infirmière avancée held with the Diplôme complémentaire de pratique infirmière avancée, option néphrologie, from the Université de Montréal;

(4)  specialist’s certificate, nurse practitioner specializing in primary care:

(a)  Maîtrise en sciences infirmières (M.Sc.) held with the Diplôme d’études supérieures spécialisées en sciences infirmières, obtained upon completion of the program in primary care practice from Université Laval;

(b)  Master of Science (Applied) Nurse Practitoner (Primary Care) or Graduate Diploma - Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care) from McGill University;

(c)  Maîtrise en sciences infirmières (M.Sc.), option pratique infirmière avancée held with the Diplôme complémentaire de pratique infirmière avancée, option soins de première ligne, from the Université de Montréal;

(d)  Maîtrise en sciences cliniques (sciences infirmières) (M.Sc.) held with the Diplôme de 2e cycle en études spécialisées en soins de première ligne, from the Université de Sherbrooke;

(e)  Maîtrise en sciences infirmières (M. Sc.) (soins de première ligne) held with the Diplôme d’études supérieures spécialisées en sciences infirmières (soins de première ligne), from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières;

(f)  Maîtrise en sciences infirmières (M. Sc.) (soins de première ligne) held with the Diplôme d’études supérieures spécialisées en sciences infirmières (soins de première ligne), from the Université du Québec en Outaouais;

(5)  specialist’s certificate, clinical nurse specializing in infection prevention and control:

(a)  Diplôme de 2e cycle en prévention et contrôle des infections from the Université de Sherbrooke;

(b)  Diplôme d’études supérieures spécialisées (D.E.S.S.) en prévention et contrôle des infections from the Université de Montréal.
